VAC was unable to verify game session - CSGO

I've seen all the suggested fixes (i've sunk the entire day trying to fix this) but had no luck. I logged on to CSGO with my friends account (on my computer) and it worked fine. My account isn't banned, so what could be going on?

I have the problem now too ... and that on a Sunday when you want to play something relaxed before you have to go back to work. Thanks for that Valve!

I've been trying so hard in the past few hours. Unfortunately none of this helped.

- restart computer
- Reinstall Steam
- Reinstall CSGO
- Steam / Repair
- CSGO Repair
- Driver updated
- (multiple restart of the PC)
- Check hard drives (game and Steam alternatively installed on another hard drive)
- firewall deactivated
- Virus program deactivated
- Router changed (smartphone hotspot)
- rename of user (it helped some users)

So someone else has an idea? Steam / Valve will not report anyway, as then and only refer to the absolutely senseless article that has never helped anyone.

You have no VAC bans showing. Read the message you get before assuming. If it states VAC can't verify your session, then you have a VAC ERROR. In that case, we have an article for that:

nothing here helped... and nothing else. I'm dealing w/ this problem for 15 straight hours.... the only option left for me is to reset my windows, I did not want to do that so I logged into my friends acc.. there was not a problem... so its not m PC its the my steam acc...
what should I do ?!?!?!?!?

Apparently, this is a problem of the game itself as of today.

I've been trying everything for about 15 straight hours now...

...so its not the PC or the network... Its the steam acc itself -.-

@nystrom ....got the same problem
no chance to fix it....my other accounts are working. tryed for 6 hours on my or on my friends pc . we cant do anything. hope valve fix it soon. best wishes
...reinstalled steam and cs go ...game files were verifyed ... then directx tryed to install again like after every new installation ... tryed to verifyed again ... result : 1 file cannot be verify....NO CHANCE good night

Is is an account problem, not your pc or windows. Don't waste time in reinstalling cs or windows. The only solution is up to valve.
