Gameban removed?

Ive heard that vac bans gets removed after 2600 days (not in the game only from your profile)
And when will a gameban get removed from your profile? will it ever? ive heard some says its after 365 days but ive seen people with gamebans older then that. Thanks in advance!

7 years the notice is removed from your profile, but the ban is still in effect.

oh so 7 years for a gameban aswell i thought it would be more like 3 years cus its a gameban but okay ill have to wait 7 years now ;( but i cheated my fault

I would have been aswell xd well so my gameban wont get removed after 365 days? ive read about it on a few sites ;( and i cant join some rust servers cus of my ban sadly.. But i cheated so i deserved it so its my fault. i guess i will just rebuy rust or something.

it might be removed in 6 years? cus after 7 years all vac bans gets removed but yea. I think gamebans should be removed from an account after 2 or 3 years. maybe just cus i have one but whatever ;(

Its the cs team so i will try but its valve not some other smaller team.. ( i got overwatch banned)

I will just wait for 64 days and see if its removed ( i have problems playing on rust serverd cus of a ban on profile) so yea

Game bans can be removed by contacting the game developers on their websites.

Game bans are permanent if they said no or do nothing. CS:GO game bans are also permanent and cannot be appealed.

@blunus so it will get removed after 7 years? Alright still sucks that i cant join some rust servers cus of it but its all my fault tho

I'm pretty sure Vac Bans are Permanent bans, they don;t get removed from what I;ve read and heard

@Dark StarKnight They do get removed after 7 years (still there) just that it wont show on your profile. So iam guessing that it is the same for gamebans even tho i hope its for only 365 days but still my fault for cheating :(

I've seen many people told by many people on these forums that Vac Bans are permanent, I'm going by what I read and seen others being told

VAC bans are permanent, non-negotiable, and cannot be removed by Steam Support.


If a VAC ban is determined to have been issued incorrectly, it will automatically be removed. If you wish to discuss Valve Anti-Cheat with the community, you may do so
