Minecraft Hacks = VAC Ban?

I was hacking on Minecraft because I got really bored, I used an "Inject client" thats called Cheat-Engine. I forgot to close it when i lauched cs:go and mid game I got banned... I would never hack on cs:go, this is my favourite game and I hate hackers. So why would I hack?

Yes, because CS:GO is the only game I play now... And this account is useless now that im VAC banned
