Can I still be banned for using hialgo boost?

I'm using a very old and low spec system. Not having a stable frame rate greatly affects my gameplay. I watched a video from lowspecgamer on YouTube showing use of hialgo boost to increase fps by decreasing level of details but it's an old video. I wanted to know if it hialgo boost is still safe to use with CSGO without getting VAC ban. Please help.

According to the devs of HiAlgo themselves, it is safe to use on VAC servers. That was some time ago, though, so, use on your own risk

Lower your in game settings yourself and there is a 0% chance of any ban.

Well, that's true but my in game sttings are at the maximum lowest. 😅

Then you should consider to upgrade your rig at some point.

GUI settings or all of them? Theres not few of them only accessible via console.
