Can you get vac or game banned for using them?

Why don't you just run the game in the background?

I'm pretty sure that a VAC ban is worse than CPU usage......

That's why I'm asking if I can get a vac ban for it.

Think harder....

That's why you should just let the games run in the background....instead of risking a permanent VAC ban with an idler.
You can't get a VAC ban for idling non VAC games, that much is for sure.

But why do you need to idle on a new account? <memberSince>July 3</memberSince>

Seems like you want to look a certain way for other users.

No you can not.
Unless you're using a malicious Idler.exe, it's safe.

But I'd recommend going Offline Mode, and possibly also blacklist Valve games from your Idler, because it could cause problems in your next start-up (Nothing Serious - just time-wasting)
