Same here..
Mac Catalina 10.15.3 updated yesterday, played all day after update until I was kicked.
Never had any game related software on my computer, all games on steam I do play in basic casual mode only. No new applications where installed on my computer for past 3 month.
P.S. did everything what Steam suggested in that link to do and even more, as lurked through google for a long hours today.. And yes I tried to turn of firewall, and allow Steam to control computer, and tried vise versa.. and reinstall amd install... but nothing happens.
To this cocky guy in comments who can't stop copy paste "Steam guidance for resolving this issue" - nothing wrong with our system apart it's not compatible with steam like that was before, when we need to go to library and erase files and other stupid stuff to make steam run on newly updated mac version.
Guys let's address this to Steam to get this sorted as loads of people are affected and can't play

VAC could not verify game session (include screenshot when you write to support)
If you are receiving this error when searching for a match in CS:GO and want to write to support, I recommend including a screenshot of the error immediately on your first message to avoid support asking for it and making it longer to provide solution.
WHO does it tell you to contact? Real simple.....it's literally two words or one word in this case.

Tried these ways but none worked:
1. re-install
2. check integrity
3. go offline and go back
4. clear cache using the command in page 1.
Seems it's a bug for MAC users. Can any MAC user play csgo now? Hope for more data, thanks

Everything I've posted in this topic about that error, is correct. If people choose not to believe it, that's on them. However, ignoring it will not fix the error.
bro shut the ♥♥♥♥ up it's clearly an issue on Steam's side. Macs can't play after new update, its not our computers. You're not helping
What CCGuyver said is really confusing. The original post said in the beginning that it's a MAC (so am I), but he kept saying "PC XXXXXXXX", and "What I said is true, no one will help you".
Despite the fact that many MAC users said they got the same problem, CCCuyver is still repeating those words. I have to say, It's unhelpful at best and toxic at most.
It is not a Steam issue. Again, something on your computer is blocking VAC.
