This thread is cringe, So here's my story.

I get that that majority of this ticket thread is just users complaining about being banned for cheating when, well they where most likely cheating. What if I told you my story was different. Crazy right? This has probably never been done before in the history of this thread. Ha.. I know, but it is unique. Anyway, The story starts 1641+ days ago from when the VAC was implemented on my account for a little nostalgic piece known as, Modern Warfare 2. Ah trips down memory lane when intervention slight of hand and danger close noob tubers where in its prime. Still, Pc version isn't the same as it was back in the day on console. I had to pick it up as I was yearning to have the same childhood feeling I did years ago.. Little did I know I was mistakenly wrong with what was about to come. You see, I strictly played team death match on Pc as it was the most populated option and finding a match was much easier that way, but something happened when I queued this time. I was thrown into a free for all lobby what was hacked, where you only had the intervention and to what seemed like some sort of auto scope hack implemented into this match. I was not a fan of this and left moments after joining this lobby and quickly re queued for some TDM and went back on my way. Until a few days later after this occurred I was warmly greeted with the notice of my account being VAC banned from MW2 and to this day It has not been lifted. I was truly banned by an injustice accusation from what I assume is a cheat detecting software that Valve has.

My friend that I was also playing with queued with me into that same lobby and he too was VAC banned. Our ban days are 1 day apart. I really think these two bans should be uplifted as it was a complete accident on how we got banned in the first place. Like we joined a lobby that was hacked. How do we have control over that matter? Like let's be real. Why on earth would I cheat on an account with over 260 games, I take pride in things I own, and depressingly my steam profile is one of those things, and looking at that eye popping red text on my profile just hurts.. I really wish something could be done about this.

VAC does not ban you for joining modded lobbies and never has. It does ban you for hosting them, however. And yes, we've heard this excuse a lot.

VAC detected KNOWN cheats, while YOUR account was connected to a VAC secured server. Other accounts are irrelevant, if not directly connect to your personal information.

Im aware the other account is irrelevant, But its the most evidence I have. As this happened 5+ years ago. I've legitimately never cheated. The hacked lobby was the only thing I can think of that can cause the ban.

I mean, I don't see any other reason on why I was banned for this matter than. Only cheat I've ever done was cheat engine on roblox when I was like 8 lol. Unless VAC went back in time and is punishing me for that than Idk
