how do i get my servers VAC secured???

i've been playing csgo for a while and with the stupid brain that i've got i went and deleted VAC and then after i realised why my game kept crashing i searched far and wide (On steam and google) but i couldnt find a way to reinstall it so thats what led me to this discussion thing.

PS please help.

Do you mean "servers you host" (...? for this one, isn't Steam the service used 100%?) or
Do you mean play on secure servers? You don't "reinstall" vac, it's... already there. Check your launch parameters and look for -unsecure (or something similar), and remove it.

If your game is crashing... verify the game files, and restart steam.

hey guys i'm really not a pro when it comes to pc type stuff but everytime i launch CSGO it says that i'm launching it with an insecure server and that it has something to do with VAC which from what i can tell means that i gotta swap over to a secure server (which i dont know what to do LOL).

Can you please post the exact message that you are seeing?

Please go up to the top of the VAC section here, and read the pinned thread about "could not verify connection". Your system is doing something that is preventing VAC from functioning correctly.

Check your launch options - Right click CSGO -> Properties -> Launch Options.

If you see -insecure there, remove it, and the game will launch with VAC enabled.

Are you running the game from an csgo exe shortcut that you created or is it when you use thesteam interface?
