I cheated on csgo months ago

hey i cheated on csgo around like 5months ago but since ive been legit and i want to make a really nice 600$ csgo invetory but if a vac wave or a delayed vac happens could i get banned even tho it was nearly half a year ago

If you haven't cheated and you removed the cheats properly from your system with a reformat, you wont get banned again.

Short answer: yes, it's possible.

VACs are always delayed and noone can confirm for how long they can be delayed, but 6 months is possible.

you dont need to reformat anything, just dont inject and you'll probably be fine

Well I must of wiped it a while ago but I'm getting a 400 USD knife as a gift I don't want it to get stuck on an account
Any suggestions to make sure I don't get banned would be helpful

just dont inject your cheats?? there is no way to avoid vac bans

You are utterly clueless. Cheat traces can still reside and be detected by VAC even if it has been removed so it is recommended by Valve.

No one on the forums can remove nor investigate a ban. Only falsely applied VAC bans are removed automatically by the system at a later time.

Known cheats where detected on the computer when the account connected to a vac server. A cheat is any program that alters protected game files, it does not have to give an advantage (skin changers, 3rd party crosshair mods, etc).
You are responsible for what happens on your account and what is on the computer(s) you game on.

New account on a fresh install of Windows. No point in playing on your account, getting your virtual knife and then getting a delayed ban because known cheat signatures still reside embedded on your drives.
