VaC Ban on "The Isle"
So i got banned, and one of the dev toldme that it might be because i had "cheat engine" running on the psx emulator while i was afk playing "Resident evil 3 nemesis" on my other monitor.
Does that count? O.o
Cus i wasnt using it on "the isle" i was using it on a PS1 Game.

This is what the developer wrote:
Keep in mind that it's highly unlikely for it to be a false positive, which again you'd need to contact Steam for. In 99% of cases you most certainly using programs that you shouldn't of, such as Cheat Engine.

Nowhere did he say anything about using Cheat Engine in other applications. In fact, you started asking about the emulator AFTER the developer wrote the post.

So, you lied by making stuff up.

No. Cheat Engine only causes a VAC ban when it's actually injected into the VAC secured game.
Having it running in the background will cause a VAC error at most. Not a ban.

And the developer did not say anything like "using it in another game will get you banned too".
Stop making this up.

Im confuse on how that works and that is why im asking the devs and the community about it.
Im not making anything up, im asking. im not even asking to remove it. (the ban)
If it counts then next time ill just close the game but if not then well i guess bad luck strikes.

CE will not cause VAC bans unless it was used (injected) on the game at the time of connecting to a VAC enabled server for said game.

If it was not, it would be a VAC error only.
