Accounts can't be hacked but hijacked.
And not Vac but game ban. Permanent.

Game Bans are non-negotiable and permanent. Account was used to cheat so it's appropriately banned.

This is actually wrong. Non-Valve companies have appeal forms and Bluehole (or whoever runs PUBG) even lifts bans when there's "proof" of a hijacked account.

The people that were game banned in PUBG are stiil game banned even when their ill-informed support said they would remove it. A few support staff went against their very own TOS and it was overruled by Bluehole themselves so their bans remain.

In this instance, the OP was hijacked so he doesn't know what went on within his account so it has to be assumed the ban was applied correctly. There's not many if any devs/pubs that remove bans because the user was hijacked even with 'proof'.

Ok, then Bluehole's ban appeal form is a joke to shut up complainers, I get it. Still, other developers has appeal forms too. Don't go overboard stating absolute claims unless there's sure proof of the absolute claim being true.

Once a ban has been applied there is usually a good reason for it even if it was hijacked sorry but gotta make a new ac

It's not going overboard - it's pretty much the agreed terms in the Steam Subscriber Agreement and in each games licence. I cannot find one game that has overturned a correctly applied ban because the end-user was compromised at the time and they we able to successfully demonstrate that through Valve.

Appeal forms for when the user believes their ban is incorrect - not because they were hijacked and they don't know if it's correct or not.

And yet Bluehole support claims to lift the ban if there's "evidence" (my quotation marks) that the account was hijacked. Let's be honest, they know better what they do than you.

What ReBoot said is actually true. Bluehole does remove game bans, if you prove them that your account was hijacked. I've seen it with my own eyes.

Bluehole adhere to their licence. Their terrible support staff whom many can't even speak fluently the language they are communicating in don't always do this but Bluehole will always have the final authorisation on bans and they don't remove any especially when the game is linked to mass illicit behaviour globally.

We do not provide exact details / reasons for the ban due to security reasons.
We do not unban any accounts that have violated the terms and services for the above reasons.

If the account has been hacked/scammed, we will not be able to assist in those cases.
The account owner needs to be responsibile to keep their own account safe.

That directly contradicts both what I saw and what

saw. One way or another, there exist game companies on Steam that use the game ban system and have appeal forms hence your claim of "Forget it" is rather flawed.

While we're at it, the ban is most likely in Rust, mind finding their terms?

I have also seen players say that support will remove their bans but as I said already, Bluehole have not done this because their staff were wrong.

Even one staff member said they would remove a person's ban as a 'Christmas present'. That's how stupid their inner workings are but Bluehole do no such thing.

Ok, now you've managed to shift the discussion from Bluehole as an example to Bluehole as the main & only topic. It's rather likely we're talking a game ban in Rust here so if you want to talk about a specific developer, let's do about the Rust guys, shall we?

By the way, once we limit the discussion to Rust, you're right. Sort of. You claim of "It's always like that" is still questionable, but Facepunch's FAQ explicitly states that they don't care who was using the account and that the ban is permanent anyway.

Facepunch along with EAC have the same policy also. I'd like to see an example of the developer or publisher who has a policy in place where they lift game bans where the user can prove with evidence that they weren't at fault even if the account was convicted of cheating.
