Is this software okay to use?
I'm thinking about using some software called Steady Mouse (www.steadymouse.com). It's assistive software designed to negate the negative effects that come with Parkinson's disease.

I wanted to post here first and hopefully get some feedback on whether or not that is going to be okay. The last thing I want is for it to be picked up as third party software, mistaken as some sort of cheat and get me VAC banned.

If anyone can give me any advice on whether or not this would be okay to use I'd really appreciate it. :)

Flagged by Valve as malicious.

I wouldnt.

http://(www.steadymouse.com) has been flagged as being potentially malicious. For your safety, Steam will not open this URL in your web browser. The site could contain malicious content or be known for stealing user credentials.

Didnt realize the ( )

That being said, if that software introduces any type of effect that mimics recoil reduction, then it very well could lead to an Overwatch ban.

OOF: "A unique Icon Targeting System to snap your cursor to where it was trying to go with the tap of a button"

No, based on that line above, I would NOT use that in any VAC secured game, or any online multiplayer for that matter.

Oh damn yeah honestly I didn't even think of that....

That is essentially an aim hack but for a more legit purpose roflmao.

Frustratingly I don't even want to use this while actually properly playing a game. It's pretty much the only software I could find that would allow me to control my mouse acceleration / deceleration / smoothing properly so that I can get cinematic shots for my youtube videos.

That being said it's definitely not worthwhile if there's even the slightest chance that I'm going to get a ban for it. Back to the drawing board for me. Thanks for the feedback and thoughts everyone! :)
