Are SharpKeys VAC offense?

I am planning to use SharpKeys on my laptop due to lack of media keys by default, and wanted to do a proper research about any correlation between that and VAC. All the info I've found, however, is either outdated or incomplete, so I wanted to ask - can I get a VAC-ban for using SharpKeys?

Despite reading VAC algorythms and such I am not sure of an answer, so I'd appreciate getting one.

Do you mind me asking what you specifically intend to use SharpKeys for? Is there a certain key you want to bind but isn't bindable for some reason, or is there something else to it?
Personally, I've been able to play CS:GO in the past using both a joystick (for fun obviously) and a PS3 controller, using a third-party software which recognises button-input on any device and then translates it into keyboard inputs. I had no issues with VAC from doing this, and I don't think having keys do rogue-things is generally a problem. Someone correct me on this if otherwise.

I'm using SharpKeys to assign a "Media Pause/Play" key into F7, since my laptop doesn't have media controls, so I can pause Spotify without having to tab into it.
I really hope it doesn't interfere with VAC cause without that I can't think of any other option of having that, except, well, different software I guess.
