Never use EZFRAGS from ezfrags.co.uk even in workshop maps

out of excitement and enthusiasm how cheats work, I downloaded hacks from ezfrags.co.uk (free version). I tested it playing against my friend in a workshop map. I swear I did not use them in compi. I still got overwatch permanent ban . I am here to warn/suggest all other new users like me, please don't even try them in workshop maps. I doubt they might change the config files of csgo which can be detected easily. Please don't do it and get your account permanent ban like me.

Even if I buy another csgo version with smurf account, I am in doubt whether the suspicious software has changed something in my user directory of any other pc/csgo file. If that's the case then again i will get banned.

But I really wanted to play csgo and I have only 1 phone number. Any suggestions how to do it?

Safest option is to complete wipe/format your PC and then install a clean version of windows from scratch

Remove Prime/phone number
Wipe and fresh install windows
New account
Use same phone number. No bans transfer between accounts linked by phone numbers after the orignial ban. They only spread if number was already on the other account when ban was given.
Buy csgo
Can't use same number for prime for 3months due to number cooldown. Once cooldown expires you can add number again

I want to clear one thing I am neither blaming valve nor trying to give excuses. I heard that overwatch bans are only for compi. But that's not true, that is the reason why I created a thread and just giving suggestion/warning for those who are not aware of it.

Well, they are. Global Cooldown in-game does not mean that it's an Overwatch ban.

Where did you get that information from?

Overwatch and VAC are 2 separate anti-cheats.

Actually in steam profile it shows 1 VAC ban on record, but in csgo game it is showing as overwatch ban, global cooldown

The one on your profile is what counts. The in game message is not correct.
