You underestimating Kids, also learning how to change/spoof HWID is 1 google search away and it's really not hard.
Also, if VAC would ban Hardware ID's, cheats would come with a build in HWID Spoofer along with the Anti Cheat countermeasure, the only way to catch a cheater is while they think their cheat is still undetected, what VAC already does.
Nah, this was already discussed to death, and we all know hardware bans won`t work.
People think Valve do it to keep raking in the cash but they are certainly missing out on money from users who don't play the game because of cheaters.
So HWID ban will affect only Windows users.
