"cheating" on black ops 2
Apparently i have beem cheating on call of duty black ops 2. Steam apparently can't give me any proof as to my "cheating" such as what i supposedly did. I don't think that it is fair in ANY means to cheat online. In my own private lobbies or single player do i ever cheat. I play multiplayer to test my real skill against other players. In single player i like to see every part of a certain map and in this case i did make myself invincible in zombies in a private lobby so i could find all the generators in buried. I hardly think that is fair grounds for a VAC ban.

All games are vac protected by default, even private matches.

It isn't fair but that is just how VAC works sadly. I would say try contacting support but vac bans are permanent.

I read how VAC works very carefully. It should not be allowed to access ones computer to detect any "cheats" that are not being used or simply open. On Many occasions i have used the debug mode on cheat engine to monitor some values as to bullet damage on black ops 2 also, but that was because i felt my shotgun was doing very little damage up close. I was not changing any values and was not planning to because i have now basically had $50 taken from be because i cannot play BO2 multiplayer or zombies. This is utter crap. Who would seriously spend 50 to try and hack a game?

Idk but VAC has its flaws and we are just going to have to live with it. :/

I refuse to live with steam robbing me of $50. If i wanted to cheat I WOULD NOT SPEND REAL ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MONEY TO DO IT!

VAC detects KNOWN cheats or forbidden core file modifications that are active within the games core file architecture when you are connected to a secure server. You agreed to this as part of the licence conditions.

There are no private lobbies on PC - all servers are VAC secured.

If you want to cheat on such an old COD game in zambies or against bots; buy a console, buy the game, buy an off the shelf cheat engine and cheat happily offline there. PC is completely different so you should've done your homework.
