Will i got vac-ban if i add 2 authenticator in 1 mobile device ?

Here's how its work! My phone have 1 sim, 1 steam app but i added 2 auth for 2 accounts: 1 is my main and 1 is my smurf account BUT 2 different phone numbers: 1 is my number and 1 is from my friend, i can add 2 auth by using the sms code they send to me and my friend. So im wondering that if my smurf got ban, will my main got ban either?
Please help me and sorry for my bad english :(

Yes i was afraid so i removed the 2nd account authenticator 2 days ago, but i still wondering that does the 2nd accout's restricts affect to my main accout by someway, even it had different email, phone number, but only have the same phone to add authenticator.

i can't answer that question. i was not aware you could use the same phone number to authenticate 2 different accounts without having the same phone number tied to both accounts. i suggest you contact steam support or read through this

Yep I've read through this carefully and i surely using the same phone numbers WILL get BOTH account banned at the same time. But I didn't use the same phone numbers but differents one xD so I'm so dead curious about this method's affect to my main account xD Thanks for you answer btw ♡

I did use skin changer on my smurf accounts, so vac better coming soon so i just praying it won't ban my main either :(

VAC bans are delayed. if your accounts were linked at the time you cheated (skin changers are considered cheats) and VAC flagged your account for a ban then if after a month or so you haven't recieved a ban on both accounts consider yourself lucky and take the opportunity to read up on what causes VAC bans and how to avoid them spreading to multiple accounts.

accounts are flagged at the time of infraction. that means if you have 2 accounts linked and one account is caught cheating, the other account is also flagged for a ban. removing phone numbers after the account is caught cheating will not prevent the other account from being banned.

Different phone# make the accounts separated. The particular instance of the authenticator app doesn't do jack.

If they were sharing the same number AT THE TIME you cheated, they will both very likely get banned.

Skin changers are cheats, so yeah that's well deserved in any case. "I didn't cheat on this account" is meaningless. Stop cheating.

As for the official information, VAC bans carry over the phone# at the time of the infection.

Phone sharing is the least of your worries. VAC detects known cheats and forbidden modifications on devices that are deemed active when connected to a secure server. If you use your main on the same PC where the skin changer files have been tampered in the core file directory; you may have a ban incoming even if you didn't actively 'cheat' by definition.

Many people inadvertently burn their mains after cheating with their smurfs.
