How do I appeal a VAC ban?
If I were to be invalidly VAC banned (I know VAC ban is 'flawless' according to Valve, but flatter me and assume I have no reason to lie and waste my time writing this) how may I appeal a VAC ban? Don't get me wrong, I have searched this question for a while before writing this, however the only answers for this question include:

All VAC bans are permanent. If you believe that you got false VAC ban please contact Steam Support
""

(FROM A PINNED THREAD)""
If you believe you have been banned for an unjust reason then you must raise the issue with Steam support.
""

However, there is a major issue with these answers. That link (steam support) has dozens of drop downs, and NONE of them [remotely] lead to a section where you may appeal a VAC ban. The closest method is: My Account > I have a different issue with my account > Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC) System > I've been VAC banned... Which leads to an article that offers no user input.

I appreciate all answers, thank you.
:)

Steam support can not remove bans.

If your VAC is deemed false be the VAC system it will be removed automatically.

There is no way to appeal a ban.

Official threads by Steam community moderators and even official Valve articles recommend you "Contact Steam Support." I don't understand why this would be true if it weren't a logical method to appeal a ban.

Thank you for the quick reply.

The pinned thread is out of date. Steam support no longer reply or deal with requests for un bans.

The keyword is "If". Let it soak in for a while.

(TL:DR - skip to paragraph 3)

There is no direct way of appealing a ban. VAC bans are audited & checked for accuracy regularly by the dedicated team and a false ban usually affects more than one person (unless it is some never seen before program which not many people know about). That of course including claims of false bans being investigated. You could contact them via Support before but of course Support was never able and will not be able to remove any bans. They most likely escalated the case to the VAC team who then reviews it again to investigate, meanwhile Support either sends back a message saying that the ban was correct (which is usually the first reply) or that the ban was removed.

Then, they implemented a direct email address (VACReview@valvesoftware.com) to which users were able to send an email, including their account name to have their ban reviewed and potentially automatically removed if it was false. Talking about it in its current state, the Support system has been changed and I do not think that it is possible to contact them regarding bans any more at all (yet people somehow find a way to submit a ticket, even if it is incorrect category), which makes the information in the pinned thread become outdated, in regards of what to do in such situation.

So now we arrive at what to do? Nothing. Talking in a context of a ban being REALLY false (not including account sharing, phone sharing, etc bans), all you do is simply hope that the ban gets automatically removed after some time. As I mentioned before, VAC team regularly reviews & audits existing VAC bans for accuracy and I do not believe at all that they consider the VAC system to be flawless (something you mentioned in the original post).

An indirect way (this is if you REALLY 100% that the ban was false) would be going around and potentially messaging the Valve employees personally, although most of the time the bans should automatically be removed without having to contact anyone. In general, somehow trying to grab the attention of someone at Valve.
