VAC BANNED FOR HAVING A CCLEANER OPEN WHEN ON CSGO.

Right yesterday Im having a comp like usual, suddenly get kicked tried to join back, message came up this steam id is not allowed in this server, so i was like alright maybe i just need to restart my cs so i do that just to find out ive been vac banned so i did some research what could cause it and it said that ccleaner can trigger vac and thats the only program i had what was open apart from cs go, so im just woundering if it has happened to anyone else?

No, it said that CCleaner can cause the VAC authentication error, not a VAC ban.

Well, I doubt it.

First, it is mentioned clearly here: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2117-ilzv-2837#software . CCleaner is part of the list that might cause an authentication error.

Second of all, the reason for the ban is not disclosed, so all you can do is guess or assume.

Well my friend you are the one who is WRONG. You can CLAIM all day long what caused your VACation but VALVE is the only one who knows and lets face it, if it were as you say then EVERYONE who EVER used CCleaner would have a VACATION, and I do not. Move on sport

How can i be wrong wrong then if valve is the only one who knows? All i did was reaserch on what can cause it and all i could relate to my situation is the ccleaner running whilst on cs go, so do one pal.

Cc cleaner has not been linked with bans .It can cause conection issues .

Something else has caused the ban

Do you control the pc 100%?

No graphics or sounds mods ?

Have you shared games or ph numbers with anyone

Well i have emailed valve and done all i could to provide all the proof what i had that i was not hacking now im just playing the waiting game on what happens next.

I had downloaded diffrent font style for cs go could that caused it? and i had an ColorCorrection error so i searched up online on how to fix that but, didnt really achive anything as i downloaded the file which was supposed to fix it but it didnt? and the link below is what i did.

Any third party program can be risky as you never fully know just what its doing to the games files .

It may be the cause .
