YOU violated the terms of service by cheating, and everything thrown at you afterwards is your own fault.

You broke the rules by cheating. You are costing Valve money. You make other people stop enjoying, and then playing, games.

My guess is that making life worse for cheaters is supposed to keep people from cheating.

Nobody forced you to cheat. You'll find no sympathy here.

As for the money, running and maintaining an anticheat system is expensive, and people who stop playing also stop spending money.
