VAC ban for having csgo open whilst downloading software

hello,
i am contacting you with reference to my CSGO VAC ban put on my account this week. i believe this i a false VAC ban. I will describe what happened that gave me this vac ban. I was in a comp game playing with my friends at the DMG rank, and then my friend suggested to me that i record my game because i was hitting some nutty shots. So i then went to download the screen recording software whilst i was in game and when it was finished downloading i opened it up and was about started running it and then i alt tabbed back into game and it says that i have been kick from the game. My rank had disappeared and i tried to get back into the game but it kept saying 'STEAM validation rejected'. I attempted to update my chache files in steam but it did not work. By that time i checked my account and it had a VAC ban on it. i would really appreciate it if you could please re-review everything as i have never hacked before nor planned on hacking.

VAC bans are delayed by days and weeks. Whatever got you banned was likely detected long before the ban was applied to your account. You don't get a VAC ban for downloading software.

no it was because it occurred whilst i was in game in the 3rd round of a competitive game. and also i have never had hacks before

it kicked me from the game and when i tried to rejoin it just said 'STEAM validation rejected'

What triggered the ban was days or weeks ago . What was happening at the time the ban was applied means nothing

Then why did i get vaced?? there is no reason steam can see all my previous games and everything i have never hacked.

Can i send an appeal to steam support from this account as well?

Normal reasons

Cheating
Third party programs ( skin changers custom crosshairs etc )
Core files modified
Playing on any untrusted pc's
phone number or family shared with another account thats cheated
Letting any one else use your account

No . There is no appeal process .

Vac is tottaly automated It either finds it made a mistake and removes the ban ( super rare ) or the ban is permanent

The program that i was trying to run was OBS 1 and i just read that it is a 3rd party program

i had it on a harddrive from a while ago

OBS does not cause VAC bans.
