If you know something like that then get a job at valve, they are looking for anti cheat people.
Vac are banning lots, they banned 30k in one day recently: https://steamdb.info/stats/bans/
Problem is that they can just rebuy the game on a new account. They need to ban people by credit cards or billing addresses or something from now on or something to obstruct them.
You also have to realize that the hackers aren't using just one cheat, over and over, right? It's an arms race between them and Valve. It will never be 0%. Ever.
but the point i was refering at that valve as a company can easily detect a third party program that is working via CSgo while he is on MM. and tbh am not that expert to write the code my self . but from the way i understand it so far it can be detected and it should be auto baning system when anyone tries to active a program via Csgo. so i hope they can devlop that part. too.
i dont belive that would really work. but taking more restricted penalties would make a difference!
as an informatics engineer, not specialized in anti cheat software, I must say: really yes and no bro. Yes, in fact, there are ways to reduce cheaters, multiple ways, just to name punkbuster, VAC and so on, but you really need to see that the providers of the hacks are both: very skilled coders and also very fast.
Dev can lock the code up to a certain level, but then again, the code needs to be executed locally and thats where the hackers come in.
You know, if it would be all and totally online, it would be a different story.
Don't get me wrong, I hate that just as you do, thats the reason why I stopped playing FPS's in general.
This topic in particular frustrates me because i feel like what ever we say in this forum, to valve to anyone never really gets heard. I'm not going to sit here and complain about them adding skins and that being there main priority over the players and the game or anything like that because i can see how that may be an important thing to keep in mind. However, this is a very very important issue that needs to be fixed asap (or at least greatly reduced).
Hackers are killing this game - THIS NEEDS TO BE SORTED
This....
The arms race will NEVER have a satisfying ending, Valve is only effective when they become aware of a new cheat (not before) and even then may take some effort. Doctors call it an index case, pretty much guaranteed any (life threatening) disease that never has been addressed by anyone has a 100% Mortality Rate. As long as Hackers get creative, Valve has to address a fix of course but you simply cannot address a fix for something they never seen before.
Cat and Mouse (similar logic to Arms Race), as long as the Mouse stays creative, the cat will never win.
TL;DR - most players that are VAC banned have copied all the successful hacks they see on YouTube but the moment VAC can spot the hack, then the video is outdated
i tottaly agree, them hackers are ruining the game and valve has to stop em, buy baning IP's, belling adresses at least only from CSgo not other games around here. hopefully that will happen someday.
