Got banned bec i had Cheat engine open

Hey guys i just got banned today in CoD Black ops3. I think i just got banned because i had Cheat engine open and i wanted to play online and i got a message that the VAC system detected something at my pc so today i got VAC-Banned i think its a mistake by them

Cheat engine needs to be hooked into the game to recieve a VAC ban, if that's what you meant then sure, your account got banned by that.

You cannot be VAC banned for simply having cheat engine open or forgetting to close it. As the good ol Flurdy said

What is even the point of cheating on something such as Cookie Clicker? In any case, as already pointed out, it'd need to be injected in the game to issue a ban.

Well, that seems to have "Evolved" to something else, seeing as the one and only point of Cookie Clicker... Is to click a cookie.

my first vac ban in at csgo my acc got hacked and i lost 300$ in skins and this guy hackeed at my acc 3 games full and i have 1650 hours played at cod black ops3 and i hat a 1.79 k/d so why should i hack
