Cheat Engine while idle?

Hello I have a quick question about VAC. I know that a VAC ban is triggered if you modify dll and exe files. I use cheat engine to modify single player games like Resident Evil. However I wondered if you keep cheat engine on by accident while playing on VAC game but not hooking the exe file. Not loading any VAC game exe files but just have it ideling will it trigger vac ban?

Hooking CE into the game = ban.

And he answered that claiming a ban was issued by CE was just an excuse used by cheaters.

If you change the process list yes it does hook.

What do you mean? When you open a process, it uses openProcess from winAPI which opens a handle to the process... no hooks involved

cheaters come up with a lot of excuses. i don't beleive a single one.


this is there mindset,

i will post in discussion a lie that will trick valve to unban me. then i get unban and get to hack more and ruin more games because i am troll

That's why there is zero-tolerance and full automation in the process along the way. The only way.
