This is beyond stupid, I can't trade or use the market because Valve is too lazy to care about Windows Phone users. I don't know what to say...

That's not the only explanation, and I doubt it's even the overriding one. Valve's inaction and lack of community involvement so far in this mess comes off as mean-spirited -- it's like they're trying to "get even" with Microsoft by throwing punches at the middle man, i.e. us.

How about creating a universal app for Windows ?

You'll reach all Windows 10 users (mobile AND desktop).

And this is really a lot of users, look at the Steam stats It would be great for all the people using steam but not using Android/iPhone (and/or old devices who can't run the app)

There isn't official authenticator. someone posted and unoficial steam authenticator app but i don't know if works or if its safe. If you want to trade/sell items without restrictions go try Winauth (latest Beta), it is a Windows authenticator, open source safe, and works fine. No need to buy a new phone, but remember to write down the R-Code.

Windows 10 x64 is within spitting distance of Windows 7 x64 according to the February hardware survey results. It wouldn't surprise me if it overtakes Windows 7 x64 with the March results.

i DONT have iPhone , and i dont have any plan for buying an Android PHONE for such a bad security reason , I ONLY TRUST MY LUMIA PHONE TO SAVE MY IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS , bank account , email , everything i need is on my Lumia and i 100% trust it ,
