So, if the rule is "App Store for the desktop OS => no cleam client for the mobile OS", why is there an IOS steam client while there is a Mac app store ?
Come on Valve, you're not even logical !!!
All that ends on the 9th December.
I am a Windows Phone user and Valve has elected to engage in mobile OS apartheid against me.
They will never see another penny of my money.
The way I see it, Valve wanted the Windows market since we all know it's the biggest software market by far. Besides this, OSX already had the App Store at that time and Steam on Linux will hardly (if at all) become the main app store for users.
