Tanks Jack, that's good for the achievement, and maybe the market discount ? (I can't tell, I got it using an old android phone).

However it shows how stupid it is ti give incentives to protect your account without providing the required apps.
People will have a "secured" account for a few minutes for the rewards, and will disable the security immediately after. (this authenticator is a desktop app for windows, not WP, so if you don't disable it, you won't be able to log on steam from anywhere using any browser, as you will require your pc to validate it)

I am sorry I didn't make that clear enough, but you are absolutely right. The link above is for desktop only.

There are plenty of decent games, and anyway who buys a phone just for gaming? As long as there are a few time wasters in the WP game store, that is more then sufficient for the few times you actually play on a phone.

With Universal apps for Windows 10, there really isn't much of a reason not to make an app now. I might not use it much on my gaming PC as I already have Steam running on it, but it would depend on the features. I would definitely use it on my tablet and phone (both running Windows 10). Though I might install the full client on my tablet for some of the lower graphics games. It would be nice to have the options, and the authenticator.

Windows phone is simple to use and WAY more secure then android,i will never buy android phone.And there is plenty apps and stuff in windows store.We just need Steam to join us here.
