Check the last sales data from Kantar : http://www.kantarworldpanel.com/global/smartphone-os-market-share/
In Italy WP market share is 12.6% (iOS 10.0%)
France 12.3%
Russia 11.5% (iOS 10.5%)
GB 9.8%
Germany 7.6%
Australia 7.4%

So ok WP is close to nothing in US but I think theses countries have a lot of Steam users who deserve a Steam app on their smartphone.

Citing a few countries where it is above the global average doesn't get you away from the fact that globally it is much lower, with Q3 of this year being at only 1.6 to 1.7% depending on who you ask. Your point would only make sense if steam only catered to countries in which wp ownership was high enough to justify it, but we both know that isn't the case.
I can see your point - it is valid indeed - but how many WP users that 1.7% represents? Hundred thousands? Millions? Despite that numbers, all markets are potentially costumers. If Valve keeps looking the other way, how can we get its attention?

Yeah! These small 1,7% represent lot of oportunities and money to Valve. I dont know why they dont doed WP Aplication Yet.
Heck, even Bethesda made a pip boy app for WP. Blizzard has a battle.net authenticator. Why can't Valve make an app is beyond me...
idiotic move from Valve..and just ironic...!
Starting 9. dec, anyone losing items in a trade will need to have a Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator enabled on their account for at least 7 days. Otherwise, to protect against unauthorized trades, items will be held by Steam for up to 3 days before delivery. Learn more

WTF Steam make the app to all platform before this(i only have windows phone)

How complicated is the pip boy app, how much of a concern is security for it, how often does it need to be maintained, and for how long?
Ok but the battle.net authenticator or Trion Worlds authenticator for Rift and Defiance?? They are already long on Windows Phone and works perfect. Valve is just lazy or doesnt want support Microsoft (see Steam PC and SteamOS)
What really makes me the most mad is that there isn't even a statement by steam concerning this issue. They just ignore us as costumers and in the same time prices for CS:GO Nametags and Keys got increased. Thats not how I imagine a costumer oriented company...
Yeah this Steam escrow things mean if scammers want to keep on scamming, then all they have to do buy a cheap(10$) smart phone for mobile auth. to accept a trade, then valve wont do anything cause both parties had use the mobile auth to say its a "legit" rade. now scammers can easily bypass Valve's new anti-scamming method. PLS VALVE WTF R U DOING? Also- Steam mobile app for iOS and Android have been around for YEARS and not once has there been a windows phone, 8/ 8.1 /10 version... come the f on Valve

You have my vote. This app should have WP support.
The app shouldn't do this at all. Windows support or not, this will kill bot trading sites and by extension cripple the economy.
+1 apps for windows phone
+1
I need Windows Phone app!
+1 Windows Phone 8.1
