actually if you chceck the about section... their is a link to github so... the source is open.

also please just use the unofficial app for the time being, everyone wants an official app, no one is going to say they don't, but for the securtity of your account please just use the damn thing. its more than safe, and if you have an questions go check the source code via the link in the app, if you don't know what the source code is about then ask a programmer freind to examine it for you.

The factr that someone is willing to put the source code for such an unofficial app out there in public for scrutiny is a good thing IMO.

not a joke, you should use it, it isn't going to do anything bad to your account, it is better to have the securty than not at this point. and until I hear something from a freind of mine you aren't going to get anything close to official.

Making it's users feel admittedly like crap.
Angry, confused and undoubtedly dismayed,
Leaving many a Steam community member unable to trade.

Promises of 'unofficial' versions arrive in mass,
A workaround for the mobile requirement, a way to bypass.
The authenticator's true purpose, a security reinforced,
Has been undermined by the francitc adoption of a possible Trojan Horse.

Compounding the matter, a fifteen day hold,
That can only be solved through the spending of gold.
IOS/Android, the choice is still 'yours'
An email verification on it's own, now that's only for bores.

A universal app, now wouldn't that be great?
Providing security, equality and no cause to frustrate.
So get to work Valve, the time is still nigh.
Kickstart a Windows app, let's give it a try.

Make Steam Market Great Again. Make an Official Windows Phone App for 2016 ;)
