Come on. I need to smartphones lying around and one is just for Steam Mobile App. I don't need that device for anything else.
We are maybe a small community, but we should not be forgotten into dust, but still, every users of this community want that app on WP! Steam is the most used software on pc, almost every pc have it installed! I don't want to get a Android or iOS phone just to use that mobile authentificator.
So many compagny have left to dust the Windows Phone community just because we are small. Come on Valve, and be a compagny that decided to make a universal app for every mobile phone(that include the Windows Phone, which is also a smartphone)!
Also, Steam is on Linux, and as many know, Linux as not a huge community of users(but Linux is great btw), just like the Windows Phone. So why Linux as steam, but Windows Phone is left to dust?
We (the Windows Phone/Mobile users) are also Steam users and I think that we don't deserve a different treatment relative to what iOS or Android users have, we want the same equal treatment, not more and not less..., specially speaking of the recent trade limitation changes that is blocking us.
With Windows 10 (desktop and Mobile) you have a universal platform for developing your app and moving forward that will continue to be the same unique platform, the Windows platform, so is not a lost investment, so as big and great that Valve company is I don't understand why in some ways are you ignoring us, and only remembering who and why you are in the position where you are today, you should forget any anti-Microsoft thinking behavior that you can have, all in favor of your users.
Anyway, if the above messages and the whole petitions on this forum and trough other places on internet don't have any consideration to you, at least you can study let us officially use the Microsoft Authenticator app (the new one that is near release on Windows 10 Mobile) to avoid the trading limitations...
Sincerely, a Steam and Windows user. Thanks.
I recently made the switch from Android, and this is one of the few apps I actually miss.
Mostly because I'm being forced to miss it every time I make a trade.
I'm hoping that someone at Valve will take this thread into consideration and start working on a WP10 app.
