I made an app for Android that lets you take screenshots in games and upload them to the Steam Community.

It doesn't need root access, because it doesn't take screenshots by itself (it listens to images database changes for Screenshot_****-**-**-**-**-**.**g path), and you can use your device key combinations (usually Volume Down + Power) to take screenshots.

4.0+ devices that save screenshots under "Screenshot_yyyy-mm-dd-hh-mm-ss" name are supported.

Because screenshot uploading is beyond the capabilities of the web API, the app will request your Steam password to add an account. But the app is open source on GitHub, so you can see where does your password go and easily recompile the app if you have any doubts. Anyway, I have 184 games and fun playing games legally, I don't care about others' accounts.

The password isn't saved on your device, instead, a login key is used to connect to upload screenshots. The password is only sent to the main Steam server at cm0.valvesoftware.com:27017 when you add an account, and after that it's gone.

All communication with the Steam servers is encrypted with AES-256 and RSA-1024. Only Valve has the RSA private key to decrypt the random AES key.

There are no ads or any other forms of monetization, it's not the point of the app, and it would likely be illegal to monetize it.

Thanks. What's your device? Some devices don't have "screenshot" in their screenshot paths (for example, HTC Sense 3 or earlier-based devices), that's why I'm asking.
