It remotely installs to the drive you marked as default.
This feature could be greatly improved though.
- On mobile there isn't an easy way to tell which games are not currently installed.
- I would like to able to initiate remote downloads directly from a store page (i.e. for downloading demos) instead of digging into Library on mobile.
- I'd like this to work without my PC powered on with Steam running. Queue the download to begin the next time Steam starts. Like how it works with Nintendo's online store.
The main thing is: I want to be able to browse demos on my phone and pick ones to try, then see them in my library next time I'm on my PC, without having to think about it any further. As of now, I have to wishlist them on my phone, then some hours later when I'm on my PC, I have to remember to go find them in my wishlist and download them individually, and I often forget to do that.
You can remote download them to your PC.
Update: Just double checked with a Demo that is in my library. You can.
You have to add it to your library first.
I tested it with the COIL Demo yesterday.
