How to appear offline/away/... in chat
Can somebody help? I've tried everything I could and I still can't find the way to change my current status... other than Online/offline.

On your friends list there should be a little arrow next to your name. Click on it and a menu appears. Click Busy/Away/Online/Offline whatever you want to appear as.

Normaly there is an arrow to the right of your icon in your friends list that will allow you to change your current status

I'm not sure if everyone here realized that this is posted in the Steam Mobile section.

There seems to be no way to set your status, at least in the Android version.

Hi, Go to Friends List > Click beside your name > your status.

it is possible. on the top left the third button says friends, there you can choose your status like away, online, busy etc.

I do see friend on the Android app, but I don't see where I can change my status :/

Lol, having a derp moment, are we? The link is useless because it describes how to do it on PC and not mobile. Celya is saying that the question is about the Android app, not PC. That's why this entire topic is under the Steam Mobile forum section.

That being said, I've already uninstalled the app for lack of this feature - and it's been requested for the Android app for over a year. Such a shame.
