Does Steam has official Android app?

Hi guys. Just found out in GooglePlay Steam app and there is said that developer of it Valve Corporation.

But if look here on site or in Steam client on Desktop--not even mention that such app exists in GooglePlay.

So I wanted to ask:

Is this app official from Steam ?

Thanks for the reply. in GoolePlay I pressed on developer link and it brought me to this page:

Then on website there is written:

So there is like Steam for Iphone, Android and Amazon.

But if it is official app from Steam for Android--why then no-one updates it anymore?

Yeah they have an Android app I use it just as a messenger to talk to friends and organises matches for games like CS:GO and AW

Aside from that fact that is completely untrue....

Android has more than 50% of the share in MANY countries. UK 58%, France 72%, Italy 71%, Spain 90%, USA 61%, China 83%, Australia 58%, Japan 64%, EU 73% - where Apple, Blackberry and Windows fight over the remainders...

But no, the android app is the real Steam app. There is an unofficial remake to update the look and feel of the app, but nothing official for a while. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2612319

No-one has mentioned a security risk with it, but if you log into your Steam account on an unknown app, you take your own risk doing so!!

The app autoupdates so the 2012 date was the release date. Check inside the app for the date of the last update.

Thanks guys for talk. I think you admitted really truthful information--Person needs to know that this app is really from Valve and also think twice about if you are going to log in your account info on steam--because nowadays security is not ideal and especially on android where many spies-apps can be present.
Anyway I am glad that such app exist.

The Version item doesn't show any date, and choosing it only opens the Steam page on the Google Play. Also the release date on the store is changed whenever the app gets an update.

Unless the standalone apk gets a special treatment, but last time I used it, it was the same thing as the one available on the store.
