The new app is terrible

What's even more ridiculous is that the new app DOES have the Chat in it.

But if you click it, it will try and open the new (and separate) Chat-app instead.

What's even the point of having the Chat-option inside the App,
if it's just going to open another App when you click it?

For the same reason you got shortcuts on your desktop, convenience.

Aint a big fan of the changes myself but thats kind of a ridiculous take. Literally takes 2 secs for me to get to the other app but I got an iphone so its stupid fast to go there. On android it depends on which brand you got since there is no real standard.

All it does is skipping a step or two.

This isn't some shortcut on your Desktop though, this is inside the App itself.

The Chat is listed as a functionality inside the App (just like in the older versions)
But when you click it, it opens another App instead.

There is no convenience there, that is just annoying.

In web browser at PC the chat miraclously stopped working. If you click new message it starts opening permanently and keeps stuck opening during the loading screan...

Yeah it's very terrible is especially the chat and steam app, are very laggy what the purpose steam chat app if they added two in one app .

Can we get back the old one? Noone asked for this thrash. Especially with not being able to log out - how is that more secure than before? Now anyone who takes my phone has complete acces to my steam account.
