Can we get a notification when there's a sale from your wishlist?

There is an option in the app which supposedly does this, however I have never had any notifications from the android app, regarding sales. The app really needs updating.

I just received a notifcation today about games on my wishlist going on sale. I think it's hit or miss on the app.

There is such a setting. In android, you press the menu button, and choose Settings, under the Settings category, then click Steam Preferences. It should show you Push Notifications, and let you (un)check "Notify me about Steam sales" and "Notify me when wishlist items go on sale".

That said, I've had those boxes checked for months and never recieved a notification, by email or on my phone or otherwise. Steam, please patch this. (I'm using a Samsung S4 Active, Android version 4.2.2, and Steam app version 1.0.6)
