When exiting the app or choosing Go Offline

When exiting the app or choosing Go Offline It doesn't work like it's supposed to. It still stays online. I tested this by signing in on my browser and seeing that i'm still online from the mobile.
I tried exiting the app. Then I tried Go Offline. Neither work. It still shows you are online through the browser.

You have to go online by the client and then exit the client to make you appear completely offline.

Bit of a funny way of doing things wouldn't you think ?

So thats just a kink really. Besides that the app is much better than before but it can be a drag with notifications and missed messages. I think this is due to the app connection not properly shutting off when exiting the app or choosing to go offline.

I hope the feedback does get read here as i'd like to help improve the mobile version.

Even when i go offline on the mobile app It still continues to connect to steam servers, this uses alot of data on my phone and also depleting the battery life. I have to go into the phone settings and manually disable the app :/ an option to control the conectivity would be nice so that it only uses wifi for example.

Same here! I've tried manually disabling the app, and stills nothing happened. It keeps online. I don't know what to do anymore...

Pretty sure it makes you show as online permanently if you use it, even when the app has been uninstalled/your phone is off. Haven't figured out a way to prevent that short of killing all logins from the Steam client.
