Can't confirm trade on Mobile app
Today with the change requiring confirming a trade from the Mobile app, I attempted to do a confirmation of my very first trade using this new process. I am using the phone that has the steam mobile authenticator set up on and I can still use the authenticator without issue but for whatever reason my app/phone disagrees.

I get a "You can't receive confirmations on this device. You can only receive confirmations on the device with your steam mobile authenticator. If you want to receive confirmations on this device, please remove your authenticator from the current device and add it back to this one."

The problem is THIS IS THAT DEVICE. So I went to remove the authenticator from this device and then re-add it but it says that my trading will be disabled for 15 days.

Any thoughts or suggestions? I just love new implementations that don't quite go off as planned.

same issue here,no sure what to do
MATES I HAVE FIXED IT
so the solution is to remove steam app mobile authenticator so then your transactions will be with your e-mail then after youre done trading and ♥♥♥♥ you can go back and add the steam app authenticator and you wont have a ban :D

Had the same problem, the new app update did it for me. Completely messed up the mobile authenthicator and only option was the recovery. Now I'm enjoying the 7 days anti-hacker trade ban. GG STEAM, GG.....

The app on the Android is buggy as hell. I had to confirm Mobile Authenticator on it 15 times before it actually worked instead of telling me there was an error and I STILL get issues like the above.

Same problem, so went into profile and edited privacy settings so no confirmation required. Steam says I have to agree by email I don't want confirmations for using market or trading, but Steam never sent the emails :S Wish I had never installed the mobile app, it's been pish from the start and now I cant use market or trade.

I hesitate to disable the authenticator because I do not want a 15 day ban on market trades.
