if you do and your account gets compromised steam will not recover your items.
If you get hijacked/phished they can get the information from bluestacks. but hey go for it if you want to

I'm the only one using my laptop and i always it have since i'm using it for work also.
soooo no i don't think i'm getting hacked. All i wanted to know is, if it's legal to use bluestacks.
or i may have to buy smartphone just for this stupid mobile authentication.

its not "illegal" but steam will not help you if you get hijacked/phished/compromised. Bluestacks bypasses the security of 2 factor, so again use it if you want, but its on you if something happens.

lol did you even read what i said?? I'm not getting hacked dude.
and you said "help from Steam".?? You must be new here cus.... It's very rare for Steam to help dude, as you can see Steam didn't even reply to this thread, Instead i got random reply from random stranger. Replies that didn't even help.
And also do you really think this "Mobile Authentication main purpose is for you to be secured????
Do you really think Steam is so worried about your account being hacked??
That sh*t is all about getting money dude.
When someone install their app. THEY GET MONEY.
When YOU used their app. THEY GET MONEY.
Steam have almost 125 million active users.
most of them probably already installed their app.
Imagined how much they earn.
