Kindle Fire version gone?

I used to use the Steam app on my Kindle Fire tablet all the time but then it just stopped working a couple weeks back. No matter what I do it will not log in, it just cycles indefinitely. Then I looked in the Amazon app store and noticed the Steam app is nowhere to be found anymore. Did support for the device get cut entirely and that's why it's no longer working? I'd really like an answer. My only other android device is my phone and typing on that is even more annoying with the smaller screen.

mine does the same thing and its not listed on the kindle store now

My steam app on my kindle fire works fine... have you tried deleting it and re-downloading it from Apps>Cloud?

Yep I tried that several times. App still isn't working at all on my Kindle. :(

I am experiencing this exact problem, and I've found zero answers from searching online. Has kindle support just been dropped?

This is confusing to me, my version still works and I dont know why yours doesnt. Maybe you need to update it?

I think it's because I did update is why it's not working anymore. When I was using an older version of the app it was fine. But when I updated everything on my Kindle, it stopped connecting and now I can't find it in the app store. This is what lead me to the conclusion that support for the Kindle version must have been dropped at the latest version of the app.

Hey I know this was posted a long time ago. But I just wanted to say it anyway. I have fully updated my kindle and steam still supports it now! So it should work for you
