Can’t download games from mobile to phone

This is more in regards of free access titles that are granted for early access or closed betas. Buying and downloading a game is fine but just today I got granted access to Marvel Rivals and it kept saying that I needed to download Steam App on my desktop. This was never an issue before considering I am on my mobile phone and was able to download games before. I believe I’ve lost access to the game because of this. This is confusing in its entirety since I am also logged in my own account and makes it seem I am downloading Steam for the first time? An update is needed to prevent further frustrations.

It is due to the fact that the playtest is a separate branch of the game and has to be enabled in the games own properties menu which is only on PC.

You could use Remote Play with the Steam Link app on mobile to remote into your PC to do this as well.
