Only grey screen

hey, have u guys checked your steam apps on android? i got some issue lately, i open steam apps on android device, it will just display the steam logo and then flash away to a grey screen and nothing, no show store etc, please steam, fix it

For me the app works normally, there wasn't even any update in a long time AFAIK.

Try clearing the apps cache in the app settings and see how it goes.

I too am having the grey screen issue, had to remove my steam authenticator because of it... So annoying.

Similar problem on iPhone. I open the app and it shows the Steam logo screen (title screen), but just sits there. No access to the authenticator (so I can’t log in to steam on my new system :-(

I’ve tried force quitting all apps, ensuring all permissions for the Steam Mobile app in Settings, and a complete power off shutdown & reboot of the iPhone. Same problem persists.

(I’ve left the phone with the app open for many minutes to see if it was just being slow. But, no luck—still stalled on the logo screen.

I’m reluctant to delete and reinstall the app, because I’ll need to authenticate logging in on the reinstalled app—which would need the logged-in app to authenticate…

Having the same issue but I'm still logged in on my computer just not my browser. Frustrating of all is the stupid authenticater is still around so I either remove it and just let my information possibly leak out or just never sign into another device. Please fix your stupid app already and do not try to tell me to clear my cache or reinstall.
