UNBELIEVABLE that years later this is STILL an issue - PayPal Android

A few years ago I posted about PayPal not working on Steam Android.

A few phones and Android versions later, it's still an issue.

Gone ahead with accepting subscriber agreement and accepting cookies in PayPal popup window. No dice. What happens is that you enter login address/phone number, and then the next screen is the same login screen, on repeat.

One of the old threads about this issue got locked for necro reasons, but I think it was done in error because the user was engaging with the thread in good faith, and not starting a new topic because the issue is still unsolved and a topic already existed.

Is this only a problem for Android, and not iPhone? Will it ever get fixed?

It's an annoying issue for sure. The worst part is that it's inconsistent. Sometimes I will have issues, and other times it works fine.

For me I've never had an issue with desktop Steam client and PayPal. And with older versions of Steam mobile it also used to work just fine. I think it fell apart somewhere around the time they made the new app and split Steam Mobile and Steam Chat.

Still busted on Android as of 10-15 minutes ago.

(And "use your desktop Steam/browser" isn't a solution to the busted Android app. If it's so broken, then they should modify the app to, y'know, *not offer Paypal as an option* when using the app.)

I recently got a new phone, and still had the same issue with Android app.
