If you change your password on PC and then you can't do anything on your mobile, you can fix it without reinstalling and reactivating steam guard.
1. Press on your avatar in right upper corner
2. Scroll down to "Change account" button
3. Press it and then press plus sign to "sign in with new account"
4. Sign in using login and your new password from the current account

Steam will load for a bit and app will be working again just fine. You don't even need to confirm anything or look for steam guard code, it just works.
