can't log in to Steam

I have been logged out of Steam both on browser and mobile app and I can't log back in.
it gives me this message on the mobile:

there was a problem signing you in.
something went wrong while attempting to sign you in. please try again later.

it's been a while now and nothing has changed. what am I doing wrong?

Having a problem here myself. I updated the app, but it keeps saying my password is wrong. When I try to reset my password it only gives me the option to remove my mobile authenticator, which I don't want to do.

If you have this issue, just go to "add another account" section and log in with the same account. This should fix the problem.

ok forget about that. after trying to reach help for the issue I discovered that the URL that would lead to the answer just doesn`t exist.
even the article for the actual help was erased from the support page. it ends up in a loop which take me back to the first support page.
so I just removed the Mobile Guard.

Ugh. I really don't want to do that again, since they ban you from the market for two weeks after re-adding it to your account.
