Are their any plans to fix the mobile chat app?

Seems like every user of the mobile chat app is having a horrible UI experience.

Like the app freezes, crashes and creates a severe amount of input lag. It's current sitting at 1.4/5 stars in the android store.


Was wondering if theirs any intention of this being resolved anytime soon?

On a side note I'm frankly shocked that a company as large and resource possing as valve could screw up a ui implementation so badly.

It's quite litterally so severe it strikes me that no one tested it before launch.

The mobile app is crap. It keeps asking me to authenticate with a QR code, which is stupid for a mobile app. Am I supposed to scan a QR on my PC? Print out the QR to snap with my phone camera?

Your phone can read QR codes from the screen too you know. It's not a camera thing.
