Report a translation problem
Reported to Support. The response was basically "don't use the app, use Edge" (seemingly suggesting the desktop app is also cactus).
It's 2023, have Steam not heard of customer service? I swear the people on the support ticket have a bunch of canned responses, nothing to acknowledge or try to fix the issue.
Probably bot or copy&paste response. Not impressed.
Probably a good thing in the way that it stops impulse purchase. If I attempt to buy on app and it fails, I just give up. Haven't tried for some time, next time I buy a Steam game I'll try using App and PayPal and see what happens.
No issues if I buy from Chrome or any other browser on my phone (same card/bank).
Doesn't look like Valve is too interested in our money. If an impulse buy doesn't go ahead I move on and forget about it.
Well, probably better for me to skip on impulse buys ^^^.
I used PayPal recently with that version and didn't had any issue. Worth a try.
