No Iphone/Smartphone, no trades?
Alright.

So I don't own a smartphone/Iphone, does that mean I can't bet/trade on ex. CSGOL? Is this system really built on having an Smartphone/Iphone? - That seems extremely retarded in my personal view. Is it impossible to remove this Mobile Authenticator? Without waiting 3 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ days for the trade to go through?

Is it really that hard to have a "Suit yourself without this"?

As for you people who are not educated in Smartphones/Iphones, they are crap. One of the worst(and most), useless pieces of trash there is.

So is there anything else you can do to get rid of this?

Steam have said that they MIGHT implement a way to disable it in the future. Many people don't have mobile phones or have access to texts from steam for the codes, and this means that those people have no way of speeding up the process for listing items or trading.

Kind of a ♥♥♥♥ idea in my opinion

Genius! You'd think that a huge company such as Steam, would think these things through.

while we wait for valve to change the system, you can always try using Winauth on ur computer. from what I've heard, it works fine with the steam authentication.

WinAuth doesn't work for me. It still requires a phone number with SIM. I don't have SIM, and I don't want to buy any for one text, then to never be used again.

You can still trade. You'll just be subject to the 15 day escrow (hold time).

Thanks for the all the tips goodone.

Yes, I know. But how am I supposed to bet away my crap that I don't want, on CS:GO matches, like the ones who were played today Matt? Since all the bets, have to be made more or less, within a day.

Yeah, this system is really dumb. Forces you to have a Smartphone? Maybe, Steam should focus on getting smarter, instead of relying on a Smartphone *Ba, dom, tsss*.
