CHANGING THE MOBILE NUMBER FOR STEAM GUARD FROM A DIFFERENT COUNTRY !!

TO WHOM IT MIGHT CONCERN,



I have e-mail SEVERAL TIMES regarding my problem.

I CANNOT CHANGE the MOBILE NUMBER REGISTERED in the Steam Account.

I have MOVED to LIVE in a DIFFERENT COUNTRY, DIFFERENT CONTINENT

SOUTH AMERICA -------> AUSTRALIA


I tried to change the mobile number registered for the one I use in Australia.

BUT ... as it says in the Steam OPTIONS:



Remove phone number using an SMS code

"IF YOUR PHONE IS AVAILABLE, choose an option below to get an SMS
code you can use to remove the phone number. This will also remove the
Steam Mobile Authenticator from any affected accounts."




My PHONE NUMBER IS NOT AVAILABLE !!!!!!!

My phone number from South America DOES NOT WORK IN AUSTRALIA !!!!!!!!!

Thus, that "SMS " CODE WILL NEVER ARRIVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All I ask is to REMOVE THAT NUMBER ON MY ACCOUNT TO REGISTER
A NEW ONE !!!!!

or .... SEND ME THE CODE TO MY EMAIL !!!!!

or .... JUST LET ME CONTINUE USING E_MAIL CONFIRMATIONS !!!!!!!


I am VERY TIRED of trying to get that STEAM GUARD fixed
just for some miserable 5-10 cents items.


BE USEFUL and GET THAT FIXED !!!!!!!!!

or I WILL STOP USING STEAM FOREVER !!!!!!
