I think the music player should be on the mobile app so I can listen to game OSTs I bought while I am away.

Why not just copy them to your smartphone and use the player of your choice?

It would require it to be its own app and they aren't going that route any time soon.

This is all you have, and wait!, then you can use a better player so it makes sense to do that rather than moan about a player that does not support skipping or speed or shuffle

Or forcing you to create playlists when you could do the same, but faster and easier by using a folder structure.
That's why i love using FolderPlayer on my Android phone. No hassle, just joy.

I was using podcast addict by Xavier GuilleMane, because it has a folder play feature. But Folderplayer rocks.

I copy songs from my Google catalog and Amazon onto the phone and also copy music practise Mp3 backing tracks, so a player that lets me drop all 3 kinds into one folder of my choice is helpfull. (I'm not a musicisn, i just like to listen) I hope this has helper the original poster too.

Go for it Valve! A way to get & play the OSTs while mobile would be warmly welcomed by me. Option to stream or download or save as you stream would be grand.

Plus the option to purchase if it's a dedicated app. Streaming or stream-like ability for the main client is another thing I'd like.
